Its rare, it's a massive tune, forget trying to buy it if you cannot afford it, i had to buy a bootleg as original prices out strip my budget. Prices will only increase, stop sobbing about sellers hicking prices it's market forces simple supply and demand if people don't want it then they would not buy it and the price would drop. This is not the case with these records yet
it's up to a seller what he'll let a record go for and it's up to a buyer to pay what it's worth to him , too much whinging goin on here
Too true! Everyone moaning about “what a Records worth” but if it came to selling em you KNOW they’re wanting top dollar!!
Anyone wants to sell copy of this for reasonable price let me know preferably not prices of £60 jokes
On Facebook, Smokey Joe says he thinks only 100 copies were ever pressed.
It looks like there a a few hundred knocking around. Extras that he didnt pay for and/or bootlegs. It's the sort of release that HTFR liked to rip off.
Carl Cox @ Dreamscape 6 28th May 1993 played Kiss My Neck
& he also played it in his Universe tribal gathering set.
Bought the re-press for 90 sheets.. What a knob I know but I fucking love old skool. My point being a choon is worth as much as someone willing to pay and I will pay the earth for my passion but hay ho. Wish is was 18 in 92 but i was 10.
I agree, a tune is worth what your willing to pay & as only 100 copies we're pressed of this EP you will have to pay a lot for the original pressing. Glad there's a remaster coming on ninety two retro as I've wanted this tune for ages.
Funny Seeing one person bitching about it costing dosh, when they are trying to sell a tune for 10 fucking grand, too many hypocrites
Mr Geese, ive just seen it!! how can anyone ask that much for a tune??....beyond me.....Paranoiz says in his description that he hardly wants to sell it, i dont think youve got anything to worry about there Paranoiz!!
The Apotheoses of Lacspor
not you mate, paranoiz
Really, £10,000!! Who's that then?? im no Hypocrite Mr Geese, but come on, this tune is FAR TOO EXPENSIVE. Why its nearly the same money as a deposit on a house my good man!!
I agree with Christian151276, i mean, are you a lover of music or are you just trying to make as much money as you can from it? The repress of this is of excellent sound quality, and it is accessible too! something that music should be, its not just for those with fat wallets that think they are a bad ass because theyve got this tune, while the people selling it are laughing at the bunce theyve just recieved!! sort it out!!( As a footnote someone is selling a repress for £93!! which is still too much!! i purchased a copy for £20 and it was mint! )
Found my copy in a second hand record shop in Preston, paid 3 quid for it about 8 yrs ago, not a bad find but certainly not worth £200..!!!
Stupid price. Nobody in their right mind would pay £250 for this. This will never get sold.
Killer tunes £5.00 we'll spent back in 93, hardcore will never die a.
Surprise surprise, still here..Do yourself a favour pal and drop the ridiculous price
faaar to expensive! this record ain worth that much
Very true.. would pay max £80.00 for it in almost Mint condition.
Friday night style samples heavily from reggae tune Saturday night style by mikey dread.Top ep well worth the cash, watch out for the bootlegs from vinyl vibes though!
haha as one of the sellers I would like to respond to the 2 comments belowapparently I never experienced the scene myself??funny im mates with joe and attended all rezerections and nocturnals aswell as various other raves up and down the country including the legendary holocoust, so in suggest people get there facts straightsecondly I think people are forgetting if you don't agree with the price then don't buy people talk like they have a gun at there head forcing them to pay the price
The Sphinx of Driz
No ones going to pay £250 for a vinyl mate lol good luck selling! no idiot is that stupid. Dont matter if you know them or not who cares.
If you read the comment again you'll see he is saying that people buying the tunes now didn't experience the scene first time round. That's the buyers not the sellers. By the way £250 for this record is a joke. I have all the others on this label but there's no way I'd ever spend anywhere near that for a record.
To Mr Topper646: Because my friend these sellers know that there are people with more money than sense who are desperate to own a part of a scene/history they never experienced themsleves and they rely on others to dictate what they should have in their collection - also you'll see traders fueling this need espcially with something that had a limited number of presses - in short, greedy knuts + scene sucking leechers!! Oh, and you're right what is so special about these tracks (with respect to Smokey - who made some fine tunes - they're a mishmash of previously made stabs/samples) that anyone would pay this for them...hahaa!! More fool them!!!
Can someone tell me why there are 2 clowns on here trying to shift their copies of this record for £250 and £300 respectively, when the average sale price for this was £18.65 prior ? Thats a 14 times mark up,the most absurd prices i have witnessed on here..On a sidenote all 3 tracks are run of the mill 93 era hardcore, definitely nothing special.
I'd never pay big prices for crappy mainstream dnb... never! maybe oldskool 92-93 unknown & rare tunes, but never lame overrated bukem and penistek lol
Hey John, if you want a good laugh, go to the list of Jungle on here and then select by choosing the most expensive first and just see what's being asked for some things - if they were unreleased dubplates in mint condition by say Photek/Bukem from '94-96 you might understand but otherwise its laughable...ah well, if they're people who'll pay then I guess others will take advantage.
Top Tune!
yes n no i heard it got remasted no sure when..?and put the kiss my neck track on a full side, thay is a very limited press of 50.still go's for a pritty packet non the less.if you find eva copy snap it up you want be sorry
is this getting repressed?
